Air Freight
air freight

When it comes to International Air Freight, SEKO Buffalo's goal is to provide outstanding service and competitive pricing. Our experience in international air freight helps us meet those goals, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

Air freight is fully 50 percent of our business. We know air freight. We are one of the real SEKO offices--not just agents--in over 40 countries worldwide, offering our customers enormous flexibility in flight times, dates and delivery schedules. In addition, we feature regularly scheduled flights from select U.S. gateway cities, offering bi-weekly deliveries to 20 destinations around the globe. By consolidating orders to build a full container, we are able to negotiate lower prices, minimize handling, secure your freight, and give you a competitive advantage.

Routing Specialists

Our value added services include routing specialists, who will ask you when the freight needs to arrive, and then tailor our services accordingly. If there’s flexibility in your delivery date, our expertise in international markets can save you even more money. If your freight is on a tight deadline, we supplement our commercial lift with dedicated and part-charter flights that will offer you any aircraft, from nearly anywhere to nearly anywhere, carrying nearly anything.

Communication First, Last and Always

The key to our success is pro-active communication with a personal touch. Our specialists will walk you through the entire process, keeping you involved and informed. Only SEKO Buffalo can give you this kind of superior service at such competitive rates. Customer service is what we do.

International Air Services:

• Express (1-2 Days)
• Standard (3-5 Days)
• Consolidated (5-7 Days)

Relationships with Select Partners

At SEKO Buffalo, we’ve concentrated on forming long-term relationships with select worldwide airlines and cartage companies. Through these alliances, we are able to negotiate the best pricing available for our customers. In our most critical market areas we have blocked space agreements in place that guarantee us capacity during both low and high seasons, with the flexibility to expand or contract these commitments, based on customer need.

Compliance

SEKO Buffalo works with you to maintain global compliance for air exports as well as imports all around the world. In doing so, we become more than just a service provider, but rather, a true supply chain partner. We’ll provide support as you increase your number of sourcing countries, or as you expand your customer base around the globe.

Complex Documentation Made Simple

At SEKO Buffalo, we’re committed to providing our customers with flawless service and fewer headaches. That means handling specialized documentation for shipping to certain countries, such as countries in the Middle East. We provide certificates of origin, registration, letters of credit and much more. We even do banking.

50 U.S. Offices Handle Arrivals

The scope and coverage of our offices enable us to handle arrivals with skill and ease. We have the experience to facilitate inbound shipments quicker than the competition. And, because the SEKO Buffalo office is locally owned and operated, you know they’re working hard to provide the best possible service.

SEKO Buffalo is C-TPAT Certified

C-TPAT (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) is a voluntary U.S. government program that helps to ensure the safety and integrity of international shipments. The program defines security guidelines for all business partners in the supply chain. That means fewer examinations, an emphasis on self-policing versus Customs verification, a competitive advantage over companies who are not C-TPAT certified, and improved supply chain security. SEKO Buffalo was awarded C-TPAT certification in January, 2004.

Ocean Freight
ocean freight

When it comes to importing or exporting by sea, SEKO Buffalo is as good as our name. Our global network encompasses more than 40 countries, including all the world’s major seaports. We move cargo through 30 U.S. ports to 80 destinations worldwide. And becausethe SEKO Buffalo office is locally owned and operated, our employees are intimately familiar with all the local customs, laws and regulations, saving you time and money, and ensuring that your shipments safely reach their final destination.

Track and Trace Around the World With MySEKO

SEKO Buffalo stands alone in the sophistication and performance of its tracking and tracing software. SEKO Buffalo’s web-based customer portal, MySEKO, lets you track your freight from origin to destination, giving you access to view and upload all necessary documentation and to receive status reports via email, fax or customized report. You can’t ship an item so small that MySEKO can’t tell you where it is every hour of the day, every day of the week.

"SEKO stands alone in the sophistication and performance of its tracking and tracing software"

NVOCC Means Freedom and Flexibility

Because SEKO Buffalo is a non-vessel-operating common carrier, we’re not locked into strict sailing schedules. That gives us the freedom and flexibility to schedule your cargo on a variety of steamship lines, enabling us to find the vessel, and the sailing time, that best meets your needs and budget. And because we can pick and choose our carriers, we can access more ports, more cost-effectively than vessel-operating carriers.

Customs Clearance

Complex paperwork, language difficulties or cultural barriers are all a thing of the past, as SEKO Buffalo whisks your shipment from the dock, through customs, and onto a truck for delivery to its final destination. SEKO handles everything seamlessly.

Our Volume Lowers Your Cost

Because SEKO Buffalo moves so much freight (more than 700,000 shipments last year alone), we can negotiate more favorable rates with steamship lines. That savings enables us to offer you a lower rate, while still giving you the same great service you expect from a world class logistics company.

LCL? Not a Problem

Steamship lines are not interested in handling small shipments. But SEKO Buffalo can consolidate your LCL orders, and give you the same advantages the big guys get. And we can probably do it for less than anyone else.

PO Management

Our latest, in-house developed Purchase Order Management System keeps you informed on where your containers are, where they’re going, where they’re stored, and when they’ve arrived. From home or office, it’s easy, and effortless.

Let SEKO Buffalo Serve You
